I was/am an author, illustrator, and painter, always trying to confront the dark and the disturbing with my own inner radiance. Trained in conceptualizing the diffuse, half-truths, tragedy, and pain, I find inspiration in the bizarre and almost surreal. In the half-light, I discover moments of purity, clarity, transcendence, and love. Now, I shift my focus. Driven by visions and too impulsive to lose myself in the details of painting or writing, I chooses video - to capture the essence of these moments that would otherwise be fleeting.
